I've always disliked having that drupal favicon; you can choose not to use it, but since browsers request the favicon, it leaves error messages in your logs if you do that. (at least, it did back in the day).
Upgrade your drupal
Pretty much everyone needs to upgrade their drupal, according to the security warnings I got this morning.
Similar entries block
I want to create a block on the side that suggests possible similar entries on the side. I try to link to everything in the post, but sometimes I'm lazy. Not seeing an immediate solution, though I'm sure there's a good one. Similar Entries doesn't seem quite right, but I also can't do just a taxonomy based solution because I often forget tags.
Blogroll
I couldn't figure out a good way to list blogs I want people to know about on the side. I tried Simpleblogroll, but it was broken right out of the box.
My needs really were very simple (linked title), so I ended up just setting up a menu.
Taxonomy image gone?
So, I was reading through my j-pop posts on my android phone, and I suddenly realized I didn't have any taxonomy images showing up. But they show up when I'm logged in. A permission problem, no doubt easily solved.

Last updated
Instead of just writing new posts, I often update old posts in my blog, but of course, they're sorted by the original post date. It's not so much that I want to rearrange things in last updated order, but I would like people to be able to view which things have been updated lately. Which means, I guess, I want a page view, and a side block. I think it should be possible through views, and I have some vague memory of doing this before, so I know it's possible, but I have to try it all out.
Configuring Blocks
This page in the handbook on configuring blocks is nice. I used to write documentation myself, and I know it to be nice.
Administration Theme
Drupal 6 comes with the ability to set an administration section theme right out of the box. I KNOW this. But I couldn't figure out where it was! I tried searching on Drupal.org, but apparently everyone ELSE knew where it was and never bothered writing it down. Then when I was installing a new site, I hit site configuration, and THERE IT WAS.
Drupal everywhere! Funimation
Apparently that anime company has a drupal site! And are looking for themers. Or, at least, they're going to have one, it doesn't appear that their current site is Drupal. The themer has his work cut out for him!
Thoughts on Drupal, Drupal modules, and anything Drupally.
